My PhD thesis aims to provide innovative tools to green-space managers in Paris for evaluating health status of street trees as they provide many ecosystem services such as storing CO2, improving air quality and take part in water cycle.

My researches are focused on Tilia sp. Trees with various geographical distribution. Trace elements will be quantified in soils and trees to evaluate their potential transfer in the system. Mycorrhizae impact will also be checked in controlled experiments. Water indicators (proline content) will be measured to determine if a correlation exist between resistant trees and their geographic localization or genetic.
